A Friend Indeed

What is Friendship? How do you measure a true friendship?

Based on my own experience, the best way to define Friendship denotes on how you treat an individual as a person. Friends, good or bad, may come your way, and will always be a part of your life. Sometimes, you tend to value wrong people unintentionally. The reason behind will let you understand why you chose to be with them. Everything happens for a reason, and your friend is not merely a coincidence. He was made to be with you, for he serves a purpose.

Memories through friendship are all treasures. It is when you start acting freely knowing the real you without pretension. In friendship, there will always a certain time of misunderstanding, disappointment, frustrations, and disagreement of opinions. However, this should not serve as a hindrance to your relationship towards each other. More often than not, you tend to utter words that simply damage ones' feeling during discussions. As a result, you were both sorry for the outcome which leads to lack of trust. Feeling sorry for what you have done does not lessen your dignity as a person. Somehow, in the end it will make you a better person, and would be able to manage such act.

True friendship does not give bearing to whatever status you have in life. It is priceless, and precious! It has no rules and boundaries. A true friend will understand you for who you are, accepts your weaknesses, laughs with you, and will extend his hand if needed.

As for me, I will always choose to see my friends for what they intended to be, and not what they have become.
